BK-Event is a non-commercial event-management application built and operated on a voluntary basis to organise the annual Blue Knights European Conference (BKEC). It is used by participants to register for the event and by event organisers to manage registrations, accommodation, and related logistics. BK-Event does not sell goods or services and does not process payments; no commercial transaction of any kind takes place through this application.
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR): https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/. As BK-Event does not sell goods or services and no consumer contracts are concluded through it, this provision is included for completeness only. The provider is neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (Verbraucherschlichtungsstelle).
As a service provider, the operator is responsible for its own content on these pages under general law. However, the operator is not obliged to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information, or to investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information under general law remain unaffected. Liability in this regard is only possible from the point in time at which a concrete infringement becomes known. Upon notification of corresponding infringements, this content will be removed immediately.
